The Art of Redemption

The Long-Awaited Sequel in the Kate Barrow Thriller Series

Coming 14 July!

Hello and welcome back!

I realize it’s been quite a while since I’ve provided an update on my writing, but here it is. I’m so excited about the upcoming release of The Art of Redemption and can’t wait to share this story with you!

The second installment in the Kate Barrow series is a bit of a departure in tone and subject matter from Saint of Lost Souls. While I’m continuing with the premise that each book will cover a new contract for Kate, The Art of Redemption also addresses a very timely subject and one that is near and dear to Kate’s archaeologist heart: Russia’s looting of art and artifacts from Ukraine’s museums and other cultural heritage sites in the occupied regions.

As with most stories, it starts with the question of “What if?”

What if Kate was assigned an amazing new contract that was right up her alley, supporting a program that wasn’t about missiles, drones, or other weapons? What if instead, it was a contract that dealt with beloved Ukrainian works of art and priceless Scythian gold artifacts? What if she actually discovers a personal connection to some of the items that have been stolen?

And most importantly, what if Kate – being Kate – decides she just has to do something about it?

We’ll see the return of reader favorites such as Declan, Hicks, Raj, and Poppy, as well as new characters I think readers will really connect with.

Oh, and there will be dogs, of course.

This story was a pleasure to research and finally write, and I hope that you love it as much as you’ve loved Saint of Lost Souls.

I hope this post finds you well and looking forward to hard-earned time off this summer or just more time to do whatever you enjoy most.

Until next time ~ sending peace and love.
