About

Like a lot of writers, I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. I started with short stories and essays and entered a few writing contests as a kid. I’ve moved from a typewriter to a word processor – anyone remember Wang word processing? – and later, from desktops to laptops and everything in-between. And now … well, here we are.

No matter what’s been going on in my life, the writing has always been there. The stories and characters have changed, sometimes dark, sometimes light and upbeat. But I never stopped writing.

In January of 2023 I finally decided to take the leap, quit my full-time job and focused solely on finishing “Saint of Lost Souls.” I’ve since gone back to a day job as a contracts administrator but am working on the second book in the Kate Barrow series.

I love Kate, Declan, Hicks, and all the characters you’ll meet or have met in the first book in the series, and I’m not ready to let them go. My plan is to write at least a trilogy and perhaps a longer series with these wonderful folks – and of course, Finn, Jasper, and Luna – I can’t forget everyone’s four-legged pals.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring my ever-changing adopted town of Greenville, South Carolina. It’s a fantastic place to live, work, and find inspiration.
